FUN FACTS
1. Hemp is a phyto-remediation plant, meaning it cleans the soil, air and water. It was planted at Chernobyl to reduce soil toxicity!

2. Industrial hemp absorbs between 8 to 15 tonnes of CO2 per hectare of cultivation. Forests capture 2 to 6 tonnes of CO2 per hectare per year, depending on the type of trees, their age, & region.

3. Unlike cotton which depletes the soil of nutrients, hemp can be grown consecutively for over twenty years without the soil being affected.

So many tops came so close to being reversible front to back. “If only they added more fabric there, or created a cuter scoop.” So from my humble boat home in Santa Barbara, I drafted & cut the paper pattern for my new concept. Then up the mountain, my mom sewed the first sample.
